Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends Food Options

The food at Topolino’s Terrace breakfast is a big step above usual character meal fare. Start your meal with croissants, chocolate chip muffins, a maple danish, or my favorite, a bit of all three. The maple danish was a stand out for us with flaky dough and perfect balance of maple sweetness.

My daughter has a food allergy, and none of these pastries were safe for her. The chef instead sent out an assortment of Enjoy Life cookies which made her very happy.

Order individual entrees for your main course with something sure to please everyone on the menu. There are a wide variety of entree options from steak, quiche gruyère, or even a simple dish of two eggs made to order.

Elizabeth opted for two eggs, bacon, and a side of fruit. I ordered the quiche gruyère served with side salad and unbelievable roasted potatoes while my husband opted for the sour cream waffle.

The fluffy waffle with roasted apple was a delicious touch. The orange infused maple syrup brought a unique flavor to the waffle and was good in small doses.

My quiche gruyère was rich and delicious. I loved it, but my husband, who doesn’t like onions as much, said the onion flavor was too strong for him. The roasted breakfast potatoes were a surprise standout of my meal. They were crispy and flavorful which worked well with the bright salad and rich quiche.

The cute story of Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends is that Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy attend a special art school. Each character is trained in a different art with an incredible costume to match.

Mickey is an artist with paint smudged smock and brushes in his pockets. Minnie is a writer, and I couldn’t help but notice she has her handy notebook and pen at the ready much like myself.

Daisy is a dancer with a colorful wrap top and tutu to match while Donald the sculptor has a clay-dusted smock with his carving tools in the pockets.

Our Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends Character Experiences

Topolino's Terrace Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends is a good way to see classic characters with a delicious meal at Disney World.

We are huge character meal fans and were excited to try out Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends after Disney World reopening.

Each character has their own unique introduction over the speaker and then makes his or her way through the restaurant. It is nice that individual character restaurant walkthroughs take place almost continuously. Periodically during breakfast all four characters come out and do a dance in different sections of the restaurant.

During our meal the character interactions were socially distanced, and we didn’t have good experiences. As of April 18, 2022 character meals are back to normal with hugs and up close interactions. I think this will provide a better character experience than the one we had.
