Fans of Epcot Festivals, rejoice! Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival mixes the beauty of flower gardens with Disney character inspired topiaries, specialty foods, and fun scavenger hunts. Let’s take a tour of the 2024 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival taking place February 28, 2024 through May 27, 2024.
Beautiful Blooms All Over Epcot
Draped in colorful flowering plants Epcot is especially gorgeous during the Flower and Garden Festival. Stunning arrays of flowers seem to adorn every available surface.
Along the shores of Showcase Plaza is an endless blanket of vibrant color which frames Spaceship Earth beautifully.
Find a variety of gardens ranging from Blossoms of Fragrance to an incredible Bonsai collection in Japan. Many of the gardens are also featured as part of Epcot Flower and Garden scavenger hunts.

Butterfly Landing Presented by AdventHealth
Butterfly Landing Presented by AdventHealth is a mix of specialty garden and interactive fun perfect for both adults and kids during the 2024 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.
A large mesh tent encloses a special garden full of butterfly friendly plants at Butterfly Landing. Tons of butterflies flit around landing on flowers, greenery, and even guests inside the tent.
The garden tent also has two wooden stations holding butterfly chrysalis. If there is a traffic jam in the butterfly house it’s safe to assume people are watching butterflies emerge from a cocoon.
The butterfly house also has signage throughout the gardens encouraging people to plant their own butterfly friendly plants at home. Seeing butterflies up close and learning about their importance in conservation efforts makes Butterfly Landing one of our favorite Flower and Garden activities.
Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt
Hunt for Spike, a cute bumblebee, all around Epcot with Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration. This scavenger hunt is a great way to keep kids entertained during Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2024.
Buy a special map for $9.99 plus tax and use it to find Spike’s hiding spots throughout Epcot. Once you find him, use the corresponding sticker to mark your map. At the end of the scavenger hunt show your completed map at select locations to receive a prize.
Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration is similar to Figment’s Brush With the Masters during Epcot Festival of the Arts or Remy’s Hide and Squeak during Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
Epcot Flower And Garden Festival 2024 Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt
Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt is back at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2024 while supplies last. Like other Epcot scavenger hunts, buy a special map to search for hidden eggs around Epcot. Once you’ve found all the eggs turn in your map to receive a special Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt prize.
Tasty Outdoor Kitchen Options
Trying new foods is one of the best things about the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. When visiting the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival we often opt to eat and drink at several outdoor kitchens instead of one traditional meal.
Disney hasn’t recently released full menus for the 2024 Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival yet. Once the Flower & Garden outdoor menus are finalized find them here.
Pro tip: Want to stay on budget while eating at Outdoor Kitchens? Grab a bracelet gift card at the gift shop and load it with the amount you want to spend. This trick has certainly saved me from overspending at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.
My Favorite Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Drinks
Epcot Flower and Garden Non-Alcoholic Drinks
The most famous Epcot Flower and Garden non-alcoholic drink is the Frozen Dessert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade. The first year I thought it was just okay, but over the last few years I’ve come to love it.
Frozen dessert Violet Lemonade is now a staple when visiting Flower and Garden Festival and my mom who attended this year for the first time loved it.
Flower and Garden Alcoholic Drinks
Let’s move on to Epcot Flower and Garden alcoholic drinks. My favorite drink at last year’s Epcot Flower and Garden Festival has returned for this year’s festival. Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail featuring Islamorada Brewery & Distillery Hibiscus Gin is a delicious, refreshing, and pretty option. Find this hidden gem at EPCOT Farmer’s Feast near Test Track.
Just make sure you grab a knife to stir this pretty cocktail before drinking. Twice we’ve had the gin floating on top which was an intense first sip.
La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy is another popular Epcot Flower and Garden Festival drink, and in my opinion pretty darn delicious. This alcoholic slush at Fleur de Lys in the France Pavilion is made with Grey Goose Vodka, L’Orange, St. Germain Liqueur, White and Red Cranberry juice.
If beer is more your speed there are plenty to choose from at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival booths. For example, at Pineapple Promenade near Port of Entry we tried Playalinda Brewing Company Violet Lemonade Ale. The Playalinda Violet Lemonade Ale had a good flavor and I liked the subtle flavor versus the strong violet taste of the popular Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade.
Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2024 Garden Rocks Concert Series
Epcot’s Garden Rocks Concert Series, a popular way to see a concert at Walt Disney World, returns for the 2024 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. The concerts showcase a variety of bands over the festival season.
Garden Rocks concerts take place at America Gardens Theater in World Showcase and feature a variety of bands. Find the full 2024 Garden Rocks Concert line up here.
Worried about getting a great seat for your favorite Garden Rocks performance? Book a Flower & Garden Festival Garden Rocks Dining Package for a tasty meal and guaranteed seats to the show.
Garden Graze
Epcot Flower and Garden Festival returns Garden Graze to this year’s offerings. Purchase five tasty food options, stamp your passport, and earn a yummy reward.
This year’s Garden Graze menu is unconfirmed for the 2024 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. However, I expect the process to be similar to the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine from Festival of the Arts.
Final Thoughts on Epcot Flower And Garden Festival 2024
Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival activities are always the perfect antidote to a seemingly endless Chicago winter. Vibrant flowers, carefully grown topiaries, a butterfly house, and outdoor kitchens make the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival a great part of our springtime and early summer visits to Walt Disney World.
